"The staff and trustees of Los Angeles County Law Library are committed to their role in serving the legal information needs of all of Los Angeles County's citizens. • Los Angeles Public Library. "The Los Angeles Public Library provides free and easy access to information, ideas, books and technology that enrich, educate and empower every individual in our city's diverse communities."

Pasadena

  • Metropolitan Cooperative Library System. "MCLS is an association of 32 independent city and special district public libraries located in the greater Los Angeles area which have agreed to cooperate in providing library service to the residents of all participating jurisdictions. MCLS provides member libraries a resource-sharing network and a means for enhancing the level and diversity of resources available to library users, while reducing duplication of effort.
MCLS members extend, on an equal basis, loan privileges to residents of other member libraries. The MCLS Reference Center provides a vital link for reference referral to members, enabling them to provide answers to difficult questions without purchasing the range of expensive resources required for in-depth research. And the System's delivery service links members for quick transfer of materials and enhanced sharing of resources."
  • Pasadena Public Library. "We offer a myriad of services and resources. As we enter the
21st century, our emphasis will be on the promotion of information literacy in our multi-cultural community, making global information accessible at the neighborhood level and reinforcing our strong collaborative relationship with local schools.
The Library continues to place a premium not only on community and tradition, but on innovation, thus preserving the "Pasadena Way" of providing excellent customer service.
Whether your visit to one of our libraries is virtual or real, we hope you enjoy the time you spend with us and will come back again and again."
  • Santa Catalina Branch Library. "Home to the system's Armenian language collection, today's Santa Catalina Branch building was completed in December, 1930. The branch participates in Pasadena's School Library Cooperative Project with Longfellow School and serves local preschools classes."
