• Montclair Gold Line Extension News.  "This Group is dedicated to the Pasadena Gold Line Project. Phase I has opened for revenue service between Los Angeles and Sierra Madre Villa. The focus for the group has now shifted to Phase 2 of the project, the remaining 23 miles, which will extend the line when completed from Sierra Madre Villa to Montclair, for a connection to Metrolink's San Bernardino Line for points east of Montclair.
  
  Eleven stations are proposed for this line, at Arcadia, Monrovia, Duarte, Irwindale, Azusa, Citrus College, Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne, Pomona, Claremont, and Montclair, where passengers may connect with the San Bernardino Line, both eastbound and westbound. Phase 1 and its 13 stations, which includes the first 14 miles of this route between Los Angeles and Sierra Madre Villa opened on July 26. Stations are at Union Station, Chinatown, Lincoln Heights, Heritage Square, Southwest Museum, Highland Park, Mission, Fillmore, Del Mar, Memorial Park, Lake, Allen, and Sierra Madre Villa. This brings back passenger service to this line segment for the first time since January 17, 1994 when Amtrak ceased its Pasadena Service due to earthquake safety considderations in Lincoln Heights and Arcadia where bridge stability was an issue of public concern."
