Northeast LA (NELA) is roughly the area bounded by the 5, 2, 134 and 110
freeways including the neighborhoods of Glassell Park, Eagle Rock,
Highland Park, Mount Washington, Montecito Heights, Lincoln Heights,
Cypress Park and Elysian Valley.
As of fall 2006 nelalist has over 1000 individual subscriptions. nelalist
membership is open to community residents and it's free. Subscribers may
post messages germane to Northeast Los Angeles. Past discussion topics
include Public Storage, Taylor Yard, Van de Kamp, Chinatown Yards, MTA
Gold Line and local elections.
Messages are required to be in plain text. Attachments are not accepted,
they are automatically stripped.
