"The Moorpark College Library/Learning Resource Center serves all currently
enrolled students, college faculty and staff, and members of the community.
The library is a comfortable place to study, to investigate a topic of
interest, or to enjoy reading a current book, periodical, or magazine. Please
feel free to ask for assistance in using the library; a reference librarian is
available to help you with your research questions...... The library has a curriculum-oriented collection containing approximately
72,000 books and more than 300 periodical subscriptions. The collection also
includes microfilm, CDs, audiotapes, and videotapes.
Electronic
Resources are available which provide access to material, including
newspaper and magazine articles, and there are numerous computer stations that
provide access to the Internet free of charge.
On the second floor of the Library/Learning Resource Center, the library
catalog is available on six dedicated stations. Here patrons can look up print
and non-print titles owned by the Moorpark College Library. The catalog
indicates the call number of each item in the collection and also shows
whether or not the desired material is checked out. The library's catalog is
also available on the Internet through the library's homepage."
