Glendale Humane Society. "The Glendale Humane Society is a
private non-profit 501(c)(3) humane rescue and education organization,
founded in 1924. For more than 80 years, the GHS has worked to find safe,
loving homes for lost, unwanted and abandoned companion animals in
Southern California.
We are a no-kill facility. The majority of our animals come from city and
county shelters that routinely euthanize adoptable animals due to
over-crowded conditions. Once at Glendale Humane Society, these animals
remain in our care until placed in loving, permanent homes.
