- The Dog House. "The Dog
House opened in 1995 as LA's first dog daycare center. Our experience
benefits dogs of all shapes and sizes! The Dog House staff are experienced
handlers who encourage socialization and play for a “dogs’ dog”, or
provide compassionate companionship for the more human-oriented dog.
The Dog House provides a loving environment for your dog in our unique
facility - ample space in which to romp or rest with natural light, fresh
air and friendly faces.
Please bring your dog to visit us once before his first day of daycare or
grooming. Your dog will be more confident staying with us after being
greeted by a friendly face, enjoying a dog cookie, and experiencing the
sounds and smells on a friendly visit."

Paradise Ranch Country Club for Dogs. "Originally Paradise Ranch
was a typically traditional dog kennel offering extra large indoor/outdoor
runs. The facility was attractive, safe, clean and profitable. Paradise
Ranch was a success by all of the industry standards.
Why then did the Company want to re-invent the wheel?
In spite of the Company's achievements, we felt something very important
was missing. The dogs paced up and down their long runs, barking
excessively, begging their guilt-ridden owners not to leave them. The
Company's founders knew this behavior was consistent with the best of
kennels, but the "members" of Paradise Ranch had to be more than well
cared for, they had to be happier for the Company to be satisfied.
Could we break all the rules? Let dogs out of their runs, let them play
together and have fun? We dreamed of providing an environment for our
members that was more like home. Why not turn the houses on the property
into Bed & Biscuit Inns, we brainstormed. Doubts crept in. The kennel
industry would shun us. The city would never let us. The cost would be
enormous. The dogs pressed their noses against their shiny, chain-link
quarters. Their mournful eyes tugging at the very heart and soul of the
Company. The dogs gave us the strength to do the impossible.
Against all odds, Paradise Ranch became the first licensed, cage free,
home-environment boarding and training facility in the United States. We
knew we had arrived when pet owners complained to us, 'My dog didn't even
miss me!' At last our 'members' were happy campers. We had listened to our
customers, the dogs, and success is so much sweeter now."
- We Do Doo Doo. "Our
service is quite simple. We visit your yard weekly and pick up what your
dog has left behind. Basically - 'We do the doo so you don't have to.'"
